A late shout out and big welcome to Lindsay who joined our team last November. Even before graduating from Radford’s interior design program, KSA recognized a bright and talented designer. We were so happy when she accepted our offer to join our studio and things immediately clicked! She brings experience in leadership during her time at Radford as a founding memeber of the Interior Design Society at Radford University, ASID Student Chapter Secretary and Vice President of the Bolling Residential Hall Council at Radford. We look forward to seeing her grow as a designer and be part of KSA’s future story.

Most memorable design school project?
My most memorable design project in school would have to be our hotel project from senior year. The only parameters we had to follow was that it had to be a luxury hotel and had to be inspired by a fictional fairytale so we got to let our imaginations run wild a bit.
If you could learn a new craft, what would it be?
Pottery. I took a class on it in college and thought it would be easy… I was wrong. But I wish I knew how to do it so smoothly.
Who is a designer that inspires you?
I’d have to say the Eames. I studied them a bit in school and was always interested in their simplicity and philosophies.
If you could design anything, what would it be?
An aquarium! I think it’d be interesting to learn about how design could impact the life and care of the animals. I also just love sea turtles so that would be a bonus.
