Cold Weather Must-Have: Sorrel Snow Boots – they’re the best. You can walk around in the snow, in North Dakota, when it’s -50 degrees and not have cold feet for at least 30 minutes, which is a pretty big deal.

Favorite Holiday Tradition: Growing up in Oregon, we would always go up into the mountains to cut our own Christmas tree. We would go during Thanksgiving weekend, bring turkey and cranberry sandwiches and hot chocolate, and trek through the snow to find the perfect tree.

Oddest gift received: My aunt gave me a baby’s high chair for Christmas one year. I was recently married, but not pregnant… a not so subtle hint.

Who would win in a snowball fight, Frosty or a Yeti? Definitely Frosty, being made of round snow balls, he can probably roll up some good snowballs.
