If you could learn a new craft, what would it be?
Pie baking. My grandmother’s pies were the best and I haven’t been able to find their secret. Crusts are hard to get right, I’ve found.
If you could design anything, what would it be?
A playground for adults with all kinds of crazy structures to walk through and climb on to make exercise fun. Maybe a bucking bull ride?!
What is the most memorable exhibit you’ve seen?
The Chihuly blown glass art exhibit at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. The glass was so beautiful and the lighting so perfect. The glass ceiling and garden were amazing. I went three times and have about 300 pictures that don’t do justice to the exquisite blown glass.
If you could design anything what would it be?
