Woodbine Rehabilitation and Healthcare is known for providing excellent care with a dedicated and attentive staff. KSA Interiors provided space planning, interior design, and FF&E selection services to create an inspiring environment for Woodbine’s people-rich culture.
The Central Rotunda was transformed by removing the central staircase, allowing for more natural light and ease of movement through the lobby. The updated finishes are classic and clean with a contemporary organic flooring pattern creating visual interest. The newly renovated 6,400 sq. ft. rehabilitation gym has been enhanced with a variety of state of the art equipment and dynamic features such as a therapy car, kitchen/laundry/bath setting and a porch texture garden, all to teach patients how to resume activities of daily home living in a safe environment.
Also included in the renovation were new finishes and lighting to corridors, resident rooms, nurses stations, and dining rooms throughout the building. The renovations were phased to clear a wing at a time to reduce inconvenience to staff and residents while providing a contained area of work for the GC. Additionally new furniture and equipment was procured for each area. The renovations took about 20 months and involved more than 18 phases.
