What We Love About the Holidays!
One of our favorite features of our business cards (and our about us page) is that you can read about everyone’s likes. This holiday season, we wanted to share some of our favorite holiday traditions, movies, cold-weather must haves, and gifts!
Favorite Holiday Movie: Elf
Favorite Holiday Tradition: Stockings left by Santa on the foot of our bed.
A Cold Weather Must-Have: Starbucks Mint Majesty Herbal Tea
Favorite Holiday Movie: I can’t choose just one! I may need to watch all of them at least once throughout the season 🙂 My list includes: It’s a Wonderful Life, A Charlie Brown Christmas, The Santa Claus, Miracle on 34th Street, Home Alone, The Polar Express, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
A Cold Weather Must-Have: A mug of your favorite warm beverage, wool socks, and navel oranges. Netflix or a good book is a bonus!
Favorite Holiday Movie: It’s A Wonderful Life
Cold Weather Must-Have: Sorrel Snow Boots – they’re the best. You can walk around in the snow, in North Dakota, when it’s -50 degrees and not have cold feet for at least 30 minutes, which is a pretty big deal.
Favorite Holiday Tradition: Growing up in Oregon, we would always go up into the mountains to cut our own Christmas tree. We would go during Thanksgiving weekend, bring turkey and cranberry sandwiches and hot chocolate, and trek through the snow to find the perfect tree.
Favorite Holiday Tradition: Attending Christmas Eve Church Service and then family get together with huge food buffet and opening one gift.
Oddest gift received: My aunt gave me a baby’s high chair for Christmas one year. I was recently married, but not pregnant… a not so subtle hint.
Favorite Holiday Tradition: Taking my kids to see Santa every year and not just any Santa but the Legendary Santa.

A Cold Weather Must-Have: Heated Car Seats
Favorite Holiday Tradition: Tracking Santa on NORAD with my nieces and nephews.
Favorite Holiday Movie: The Holiday! I love a good romantic comedy and with a holiday theme, even better.
Favorite Holiday Movie: Love Actually
Oddest gift received: A pamphlet from the 1950’s that was put out by a cereal company on how to maintain regularity.
Favorite Holiday Tradition: Taking the kids on one of the many Richmond area Tacky Light tours while listening to the radio play Christmas music.
Who would win in a snowball fight, Frosty or a Yeti? Definitely Frosty, being made of round snow balls, he can probably roll up some good snowballs.
